We are a Centre of Technological Transfer and Collaboration for Recycling Technologies (@ Department of Chemistry, UNIPV)

KEY R&D GOALS:
• Profitable recycling by recovering high-value materials
• Processes to optimize yield, productivity, and cost
• Future supplies of critical materials for energy storage

INNOVATION KEY POINTS:
• Sustainable and profitable recycling processes
• Efficient recovery of CRMs
• Electrolyte recovery by supercritical CO₂
• Green chemistry
• Re-use of solvents

THE FINAL GOALS:
• Sustainability in the value chain: materials value for recycling is important
• Reduction and substitution of raw materials
• Reclamation of other valuable materials (graphite and fluorinated products)
• Recycling shorter and closed loop
• Recovery and re-use as secondary raw materials for new devices
• Employment of soft solvo-metallurgic process which led to better results, cost/benefit improvement
